If we think that Oliverian looks like a possibility for your son/daughter based on an initial review of the application materials, we will call you to set up a campus visit for you and your child. We like to meet with both parents and the student when possible. In the rare case that the student can not come for the visit, a phone conference, or similar interview opportunity, between the admissions committee and the student will be scheduled.
Campus visits are scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 2:00pm. Families should expect to spend as long as three hours on campus for the visit, and you will have the opportunity to tour our beautiful campus, see a student dorm, meet Oliverian students and faculty, and meet with a variety of administrators as a family and individually as parents and student.
Soon after your departure from campus, the admissions committee will meet to discuss whether or not we accept or decline the students application for admission. This decision is based on whether we feel that Oliverian can meet the students needs. Typically this decision is made within 72 hours, but there are times when the admissions committee will need more time to make their decision.
