NEWS AT OLIVERIAN SCHOOL
April 2008
4.11.2008 Summer Session offers Horseback Riding at Dartmouth Riding Center
Pack your boots and riding helmets! The Oliverian School Summer Program is pleased to announce the addition of
horseback riding to our exciting line-up of summer activities for students.
Students will be riding at the Dartmouth Riding Center at the Morton Farm in Etna, NH. This fine, long-established riding center offers lessons and boarding for Dartmouth students and staff, as well as community children and adults. In addition, the Dartmouth College Intercollegiate Riding team trains out of this facility.
Oliverian riders will spend Sunday afternoons at Morton Farm, enjoying one-hour lessons. Each lesson will include horse prep, riding, and horse/barn care. Students do not need prior riding experience.

4.10.2008 Student Group Supports New Students
Now that the campus is full of life after Spring Break, we have many new faces joining the Oliverian community. We have recently enrolled twelve new students for the second half of the year. What a fantastic addition!
To support our new-comers, Oliverian has started the New Student Support Group. The purpose of this group it to acclimate new-comers to Oliverian life, provide opportunities to bond with each other outside of the classroom, and to show them the influential role they play within their community. Of course, they also meet just to have fun with outings, dinner, movies, and the ever popular night of bowling.
