New Music Studio enhances Music Program

One more sign of the Oliverian School's commitment to the arts is the near completion of a beautiful music studio space. This multi use area will serve our students in several capacites as our previous students have shown us that they are hungry for more musical outlets. Upon entering the building, visitors will notice a spacious rehearsal area complete with drums, guitars, microphones, amplifiers, etc. Beyond this are two sets of sliding glass doors which house our digital recording studio and our recording isolation booth where our students will enjoy learning about the recording process and recording the music they create. Located above the recording area are two super sound insulated rooms for quiet practice, acoustic music, or even a second full band rehearsal that is virtually silent. This is accomplished with an electronic drum kit, a guitar processor, a small mixer, headphones, and a headphone amplifier that routs the signal to the participants of this silent jam. We are all excited for the opportunities for our students as they utilize this wonderful new space.

New Dormitories and Lighted Path

This fall, Oliverian School has added two new dormitories to the east side of campus -- Smith and Bixby dorms. These dorms are a short walk from the main campus as a result of a new lighted walking path project that will connect the east and west sides of the campus.
