New Student Center Opens, offering Oliverian students a place to relax and unwind with games, food, big screen TVs, and an internet cafe 11.30.2007
New Student Center Opens
The new Oliverian Student Lounge is complete! With Oliverian’s rapid growth, faculty expressed the need for a central location for students to gather, study, do research, and just “hang out.” Construction began immediately, bringing the invigorating sounds of hammers pounding and saws buzzing throughout the summer. Now, less than one year from the initial vision, the Oliverian Student Lounge is complete with gaming center, pool table, foosball tables, big screen TVs, internet café, and a snack bar. Faculty and students eagerly anticipate the official ribbon cutting Wednesday, December 5th, 2007.

Phase II of the Student Union is the Library and Technology Center which is off to an incredible fundraising launch with a tremendous donation of $25,000 from one of our generous families at the school.

New 'Student Life' Section Enhances Oliverian Website
The Oliverian School website has just been enhanced to include a Student Life section which provides perspectives on the Oliverian experience. The first two stories featured in the Student Life Spotlight, Hut-to-Hut Trip and the Paintball Showdown, were written by Oliverian student, Gregory Smith.

Hut-to-Hut Trip details the adventures of six Oliverian students who trekked the White Mountains in October, while the Paintball Showdown describes the friendly rivalry between Merrill House and Farmhouse as they take on eachother to win paintball bragging rights.
