Student Life
Perspectives on the Oliverian Experience
Nestled on a 1,800-acre campus in beautiful Northern New Hampshire, The Oliverian School provides an inspiring, supportive, and challenging
educational alternative for students in grades 9-12. Here in the mountains of New Hampshire, in a unique school environment that combines stewardship, academics,
a caring culture, and adventure,
students who march to the beat of their own drummer will find support, inspiration, challenge, and success.
In addition to these cornerstones of the Oliverian experience, student life is comprised of free time, structured activities, and a residential experience.
Our new Student Center provides a place for students to relax, interact with others, and do homework. Dormitories are structured to promote
cooperation and a family-like atmopshere, which in turn interact with the larger Oliverian community. Counseling Groups support students in a
variety of areas, including social interactions, transitioning into post-secondary education, and substance abuse issues.
A glimpse into student life at Oliverian can perhaps best be related through stories. Our Oliverian Spotlight tells tales of life at Oliverian,
whether through a description of an overnight trip or a sample of student poetry and artwork. Many 'Spotlights' are student written.
