Counseling and Support

Our counseling program hosts several programs to help students adjust, including “Living in a Residential Community”,
“Transitioning to High School”, “Creating Positive Peer Relationships”, “Conflict Resolution”, and “Healthy Coping Skills”.
These are accomplished through individual and group counseling, and, if requested, through family counseling.
The Oliverian School’s Summer Program is particularly well-suited to support younger students. For students who have never
experienced boarding school, the Oliverian Summer Program is a great way to sample educational community life in a safe and supportive
environment. Our counseling and advising programs provide ongoing encouragement and help students through all aspects of community living,
from academic matters to social and emotional needs.
For students who are considering Oliverian for the academic year, the Summer Program provides an opportunity to become acquainted with
the school while earning academic credit. Students who begin their Oliverian experience with the Summer Program find they transition
smoothly into the academic year and experience less “new school” anxiety.
