Bethany Sosa

Development and Marketing Coordinator

Bethany Sosa, Development and Marketing Coordinator, graduated from Stonehill College with a BA in Political Science and Public Administration. Upon graduation, she found herself in the serendipitous situation of teaching music in a small private school in inner city Massachusetts. Having always had the desire to teach, this experience solidified this back of mind yearning and developed into what has become a meaningful career in education spanning experience as an educator, and admissions and marketing professional at the Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, and University level. Most recently, Bethany served as the Director of Admissions for The Grace School in Providence, Rhode Island.

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Bethany and her husband, Bob, chose to leave the hustle and bustle of The Ocean State to raise their young son in the mountains here in New Hampshire. In her spare time, Bethany can be found crocheting, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.

What do you love most about Oliverian?

From day one, this wonderful Oliverian community has proven to be the most welcoming and accepting to both faculty and students alike. I am grateful to be a part of a community that values meaningful developmental relationships with our students and creates a space that is open to all and encourages and supports all students and faculty to grow and develop into their best selves.

What motivates you to work with kids?

Working with kids is the absolute best job in the world! To witness the openness children have and the transformation that occurs as they grow and develop is truly a wonder and something that should never be taken for granted. I firmly believe that no matter how much we feel we have taught our kids, young adults, students, there will always be more that they can teach us, if only we have the patience and humility to listen.
